Ronseal Diamond Hard Clear Varnish is the ultimate clear protection for any interior wood that highlights the grain and protects against scratches, water and heat, keeping wood looking beautiful for longer.

COVERAGE
16-20m² per litre coverage will vary dependent upon the porosity of the substrate.

WHERE CAN I USE IT
Suitable for any bare or previously treated wood in the home including doors, furniture, shelving, skirting boards, cork, hardboard or chipboard.

WHAT SORT OF FINISH
Available in non yellowing clear gloss satin or matt

HOW MANY COATS
2 are normally enough but untreated wood may need 3.

DRYING TIMES
Allow 2 hours between each coat

APPLICATION
Start by ensuring all surfaces are free from wax, grease and oil, by wiping with a cloth dampened with white spirit. Stir thoroughly prior to and during use. Apply in a warm well ventilated room. Using a synthetic filament brush apply evenly in the direction of the wood grain. For best results, apply to 2-3 coats. Do not over-brush as this will spread the finish too thinly and effect performance. Allow two hours between coats. Prior to application of the final coat, lightly rub down with abrasive paper, wipe over with a damp cloth and allow to dry.

CLEAN UP AND MAINTENANCE
Remove as much product from the brush as possible before cleaning with water and detergent. Do not empty into drains or watercourses. Some local authorities have special facilities for disposing of waste coatings.
